Pull out your calendars and get ready for fun! The winds of October kept us from our celebration last fall, but we're determined to come together this spring!
Wild Whatcom is teaming up with the Bellingham Parks and Recreation Department to offer a fun family event on (early-release) Thursday, April 27, from 3:00-5:00PM. Pitch in alongside your child with shovels and buckets as we weed and mulch around young trees in a new forest restoration. All ages are welcome and there is no cost. Gloves and other supplies will be provided. Please complete the City of Bellingham Parks and Recreation Department liability release form and bring with you.
Afterward, from 5:00-6:30PM, we will celebrate with music and food! The marimba band, Kuungana, will provide a happy beat as we share food together at the Squalicum Creek Park shelter. Bring a light dish to share. Beverages will be provided, as well as plates, cups, and flatware.
No cost to attend, but an RSVP is appreciated!

But wait! There’s more! We’ll also be holding our first Gear Swap. Borrow, exchange, and upcycle unused or outgrown outdoor gear. Our kiddos grow so fast and new outdoor gear is pricey. No need to bring items to participate.
