Explorers Club Interest Form

If you would like to join an Explorers Club group, please complete the interest form below.
Because of interest among younger grades, we use a randomized selection process to fill groups — in other words, we draw names at random rather than a sequential list by sign up date. To be included in the randomized selection process a participant must be entering second grade or above the upcoming school year.
We check forms regularly, but please note we do not respond directly when forms are received. We will contact you if a space becomes available. When you sign up, you will receive our monthly newsletter and occasional program news and event announcements. You are welcome to opt-out or unsubscribe at any time. Your privacy and right to control what mail you receive is very important to us. Wild Whatcom only sends communications to individuals with whom we have an on-going individual or business relationship. Know that all messages will come directly from us and we will not share, sell, or rent your email to anyone. For additional questions, please contact us: explorersclub@wildwhatcom.org.
In order to confront societal inequities and increase access to the outdoors for all youth, we give priority to participants from communities that are under-served in outdoor education (including, but not limited to, participants that identify as LGBTQIA2S+, as a person of color, are from a low-income family, and/or identify as gender non-conforming). Please do not hesitate to let us know if you feel that your family or child faces any barrier to participation in our program for any reason, so that we can do our best to accommodate and make you feel welcome. Our Interest Form is below. We offer scholarships (as funds allow) for participants from low-income families or those with extenuating circumstances (e.g. single guardianship, chronic health care costs, etc.) up to 100% of program cost and we give priority to siblings of current participants in order to support family cohesion.
