Business Partners

Our business partners work with us to support our programs and get more people outside in ways that are mutually beneficial. Business partners enable us to offer free school programs, scholarships for families in need, donation-based community programs, and free loaner gear to our participants. Together, we can remove barriers and make outdoor learning accessible to all!

Wild Whatcom supports our partners in ways that work best for them, including: 

  • Recognition on our website, email newsletters, social media, mailings

  • Tabling or speaking at an event

  • Contributing a gift certificate to your fundraiser

  • Hosting an outing for your staff

Appeal PARTNERSHIP

  • Matching donations for Wild Whatcom’s fundraising appeals. These business donations inspire giving from individual donors to double your impact and help us raise more money! Interested in becoming a business partner? Email Amye@wildwhatcom.org

FUNDING PARTNERSHIP

  • Contributing to Wild Whatcom as part of your corporate giving or social responsibility plan

  • Providing your employees with funds to donate to local nonprofits

  • Hosting a fundraising event at your place of business


In-Kind PARTNERSHIP

  • Contributing goods or services to support our programs, events, staff development (e.g. donations for trivia prizes like coffee or T-shirts, food for our staff or volunteer meetings, discounted venue rental for our staff retreat)  

  • Helping our outreach efforts by posting our flyers or sharing our information with your clients and community

  • Discounting or providing free services that your business offers (e.g. free or discounted ad space in your publication, free or discounted outdoor gear for our staff)
