8:30-9:00: Drop-off* and Free Play

9:00-9:15: Opening Circle

  • Introductions: Share names and pronouns

  • Cover physical and heart safety

9:15-9:45: Toileting, Handwashing, and Snack

9:45-10:30: Mammal Lessons

  • What is a mammal?

  • Where do mammals live?

  • What do mammals eat?

  • How do mammals communicate with each other?

10:30-11:30: Mammal Activities and Free Explore

  • Build animal shelters

  • Play gaits charades

  • Create gaits prints

  • Play Squirrel Olympics, Cougar Stalks Deer, Fire in the Forest

11:30-12:00: Lunch

12:00-12:30: Closing Circle

  • Attitude of gratitude

*Drop-off will be a window from 8:30-9:00AM. Please do your best to arrive as close to 8:30AM as possible. We anticipate that it may take some time for your child to become comfortable as you depart and we start the day.
